WoodCraft Rearsets are machined from 100% Tough Aircraft Grade 6061-T6 Aluminum. They choose to use this fine material specifically becuase it provides the best combination of both strength and durability. Other Lower Grades of Aluminum such as 7075 generally tend to crack, instead of bend when hit with a large impact. The use of aircraft grade 6061-T6 Aluminum allows WoodCraft Rear Set brackets to bend under stress instead of snapping off or cracking when they are crashed hard. Rearsets made from this material can often be bent back and even re-welded wheres as 7075 tends to crumble and is very hard to weld at all. Available in Clear or Black Anodized Finish. Brake Light Switch & Return Spring not included.
